REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
1. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Consumer Code, when acting as a consumer, the Customer generally has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.
To exercise this right, the Customer must inform Ultraoutil of their decision to withdraw by means of a clear statement addressed to:

The Customer may also use the standard withdrawal form provided in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
2. Return period
After communicating their decision to withdraw, the Customer must return the product within the applicable legal period and, at the latest, within 14 days following the communication of their decision to withdraw.
The practical arrangements and return address will be communicated to the Customer when necessary.
3. Return shipping costs
Unless expressly announced otherwise by Ultraoutil, the direct costs of return are borne by the Customer when exercising their right of withdrawal.
However, when a product received is defective, not compliant with the order, or when an error attributable to Ultraoutil is found, the Customer is invited to contact Ultraoutil before any return so that appropriate handling procedures can be communicated to them.
4. Condition of returned products
The Customer may handle and examine the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.
Their responsibility may be engaged in the event of depreciation resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this verification.
The product must be returned with its accessories and elements possibly supplied with it.
Whenever possible, the use of the original packaging is recommended to properly protect the product during transport.
5. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in cases excluded by applicable law.
This may particularly concern:
products made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized;
products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
certain products unsealed after delivery which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection;
more generally, products falling under a legal exception to the right of withdrawal.
When an exception concerns a product marketed by Ultraoutil, this information is indicated to the Customer before the conclusion of the order.
6. Refund
When the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Ultraoutil refunds the sums due to the Customer in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
The refund includes, in particular, the price of the products concerned as well as the standard delivery costs initially paid when the law provides for their reimbursement.
If the Customer has expressly chosen a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery method offered, the corresponding supplement does not have to be reimbursed.
7. Refund period and method
Ultraoutil makes the refund within the applicable legal period from the date on which it is informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw.
Ultraoutil may defer the refund until recovery of the product concerned or until the Customer provides proof of its shipment, the date taken being that of the first of these events.
The refund is made using the same payment method as that used during the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method and provided that this does not incur any costs for them.
8. Damaged, defective or non-compliant product
If the Customer receives a damaged, defective or non-compliant product, they must contact Ultraoutil as soon as possible:

To facilitate the processing of the request, it is recommended to communicate:
the order number;
the reference of the product concerned;
a description of the problem;
photographs of the product and, where relevant, its packaging.
This procedure, intended to facilitate the processing of the request, does not limit the consumer's legal rights.
9. Legal guarantees
Products sold by Ultraoutil benefit from applicable legal guarantees, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, under the conditions provided for by French legislation.
These legal guarantees apply independently of any commercial guarantee that may be offered.
10. Exchanges
Ultraoutil does not guarantee the possibility of directly making an exchange.
When the Customer wishes to obtain another reference, size, model or version of a product, they are invited to contact Ultraoutil to find out the available solution depending on the product concerned.
